Outra transmissão que tenho conseguido ouvir com momentos de bastante clareza é a repetidora em 10 metros FM do sistema<a href="http://www.hamrepeater.net/kq2h/"> KQ2H </a>de repetidoras nos EUA. No tempos em que <a href="http://amateur-radio-wiki.net/index.php?title=Trans-Equatorial_Propagation">TEP</a> e <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sporadic_E_propagation">Es</a> começam a ficar mais evidentes, algumas bandas sofrem essa influência mais do  que outras. Os 27 MHz da banda de 11 metros são um bom exemplo de como esses fenômenos de propagação agem. Nos últimos dias, sintonizando em 27.015, o popular canal 5 do PX ou <a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiocidad%C3%A3o">Faixa do Cidadão</a>, nota-se uma IMENSA confluência de portadoras da qual não se compreende nada de ninguém ali emitindo. São dezenas, talvez centenas delas originadas (imagem acima) de operadores provavelmente espalhados por toda a América do Sul em estações móveis e base batendo papo com colegas localmente. O som gerado é bem característico, quase musical eu diria, ainda mais usando o modo SSB do receptor. Abaixo deixo uma gravação de 30 segundos de 27.015 no modo CW a fins de evidenciar todas as portadoras ali presentes.<br />

Numa bela manhã de terça-feira, tive uma oportunidade muito desejada por vários radioescutas pelo mundo, que é conhecer o parque transmissor de uma emissora de ondas curtas e médias. Situada a 34 quilômetros Noroeste do centro de Brasília, a maior instalação do tipo na América Latina desde 1979, mesmo vista de longe impressiona. A cada metro mais próximo das antenas a grandiosidade delas vai enchendo os olhos de entusiastas como eu. O resumo em uma palavra daquilo tudo é esse: Monumental!<br />
A chegada ao local já denota a preocupação com a segurança, já que a  emissora tem valor estratégico para o país, e não poderia ser diferente é claro. São quatro antenas, sendo uma de ondas médias com 119 metros de altura, e três de ondas curtas, tendo a mais alta 143 metros. Os prédios onde são abrigados os transmissores, salas de monitoramento, equipamentos de modulação e vários outros, são de construção impressionantemente robusta, típica de edificações militares. No primeiro e maior deles logo após a entrada do parque, ficam os equipamentos relacionados ao sistema de ondas curtas. Dentro dele, há uma grande sala com consoles onde é possível monitorar o status das transmissões, parâmetros de potência e SWR e fazer controle direcional das transmissões. Há também um console que permite ligar qualquer um dos transmissores com qualquer uma das antenas, num apertar de botão e também um enorme rack com os processadores de áudio, moduladores e links de satélite. Nas paredes desta sala, estão mapas com os lóbulos de irradiação das antenas, e a cobertura teórica das emissões que dali partem para o Brasil e para o mundo. Saindo desta sala, logo a frente, temos um enorme corredor onde ficam os transmissores de ondas curtas, todos da marca Brown Boveri &amp; Cie de origem Suíça, valvulados e tão grandes que estivemos DENTRO de um deles, que no momento irradiava a programação da Rádio Nacional da Amazônia em 11780 KHz com 150 KW direcionados a região norte. As válvulas de saída e moduladoras são imensas e refrigeradas a água por um sistema de grandes radiadores que fica no segundo piso do prédio, junto dos reservatórios de água quente oriunda do retorno das mesmas, e que permite a elas uma vida útil de aproximadamente 40 mil horas. No momento da visita, os transmissores ativos eram o de 11780 KHz com 150 KW e o de 5990 KHz com também 150 KW, transmitindo a programação da Rádio Senado. O transmissor de 6180 KHz estava inoperante, aguardando uma nova válvula de saída chegar do exterior. Sendo assim, este teve as portas dos seus compartimentos das válvulas abertos para que pudéssemos ver como eram por dentro, já que em funcionamento isso não é possível por conta da altíssima radiação ali emitida. No final do corredor de transmissores há uma bela vista (a qual apreciamos) pra uma das antenas de ondas curtas, que naquela ocasião transmitia a Radio Senado em 5990 KHZ. Terminada a visita ao primeiro prédio, fomos de carro até o prédio do transmissor de ondas médias, situado a dois quilômetros dali. No meio do caminho paramos um pouco ao pé da mais alta das antenas de ondas curtas que estava inoperante, para apreciação e algumas fotos, e também vimos a subestação que recebe uma linha dedicada direto de FURNAS de 138.000 Volts, que garante o abastecimento ininterrupto do local e tem capacidade de alimentar dezenas de milhares de residências. Logo depois chegamos ao prédio do transmissor de ondas médias, o primeiro ali construído, no ano de 1974. Dentro dele, está fixada logo na entrada a placa histórica de fundação do local, assim como a placa com todos os envolvidos no projeto de implantação do sistema. No momento da visita, o transmissor de ondas médias estava desligado, pois a transmissão diurna da Nacional AM é feita dentro de Brasília com uma antena 1/4 de onda situada no parque transmissor do SIA (Setor de Indústria e Abastecimento). Foi possível também ver os racks com receptores de link de satélite, processadores de áudio e moduladores de áudio de ondas médias semalhantes os vistos no prédio anterior . O transmissor é também um Brown Boveri valvulado e possui 300KW de potência máxima, dos quais 230KW estão sendo efetivamente utilizados na transmissão noturna. Após a visita ao prédio, caminhamos para o lado de fora onde foi impossível não notar a enorme torre irradiante de ondas médias que fica a 170 metros dali, com 119 metros de altura, 1/2 onda para os 980 KHz da Nacional AM e que diferentemente das torres triangulares normalmente encontradas nesse tipo de difusão, tem formato quadrado com cada lado medindo 1,20 m, uma estrutura realmente muito robusta. Foi possível observar também a superdimensionada linha de alimentação que percorre os 170 metros do prédio até a &#8220;casinha&#8221; no pé da torre, projetada para 600KW. Outro detalhe interessante é que em 360 graus ao redor da torre, existem 180 radiais de cobre enterrados, para formar o plano terra da antena. Segundo nos foi informado, novos transmissores estão a caminho, já em processo licitatório. Serão três novos transmissores de 300KW para ondas curtas e dois de 300KW ou três de 200KW de estado sólido para ondas médias, que somados, farão a Nacional AM retornar para os famosos 600KW que já possuiu no passado. E por fim, quero deixar aqui os meus sinceros agradecimentos ao Lúcio Haeser, Jornalista da EBC, que nos proporcionou esse passeio fantástico, ao Engenheiro Toshihiro Kanegae, Gerente de Engenharia de Rádio da EBC pelas explanações e pela atenção dispensada a nós, ao Senhor Ivo, técnico encarregado dos transmissores que nos explicou muitas coisas sobre o funcionamento dos mesmos, e finalmente ao meu amigo <a href="http://bsbdx.blogspot.com" target="_blank">Thiago Machado </a>pela hospedagem e transporte em Brasília. Na tarde de hoje, foram captadas aqui em Goiânia emissões de dois LDOCs (Long Distance Operational Control ou Controle Operacional de Longa Distância) em HF. Os LDOCs são relacionados a aviação e geralmente cada compania tem o seu, tendo eles, a missão de manter contato com as aeronaves em qualquer parte do mundo, estando 24 horas a disposição de seus comandantes no que for preciso. No entanto, há empresas hoje que prestam esse serviço de forma terceirizada, como é o caso da <a href="http://www.flex-fcc.com.br/">Flex Comm Center</a> no Rio de Janeiro. A estação pertencia a antiga VARIG e atendia somente aos vôos da mesma, onde respondia por &#8220;VARIG CCO&#8221;. As emissões captadas hoje da FCC, eram do momento no qual ela atendia um vôo da<a href="http://www.voerio.com/br"> Rio Linhas Aéreas</a>, empresa cargueira situada em Curitiba e que opera com aeronaves do tipo Boeing 727-200F. O vôo era o Rio 9644 e estava fazendo o trecho Porto Velho &#8211; Cuiabá. Abaixo deixo a gravação dessa recepção, que teve início às 20:39 UTC nas frequências de 8939 KHz e depois 11366 KHz.<br />

Outro LDOC que se fez presente por aqui hoje foi o da Kenya Airways. Compania aérea do Quênia, com sede operacional na capital do país, Nairobi. É a primeira vez que escuto esse LDOC por aqui e espero que não seja a última, pois foi bastante interessante. Abaixo, deixo a gravação da recepção deste LDOC, que teve início às 19:28 UTC na frequência de 13330 KHz.<br />
